How to clean the hob: effective remedies also for stoves and grills

Clean the stove with water and white vinegar

Even the cleaning of the stove should be daily, but it can also be done once a week, especially if they have not got particularly dirty. Take them out and dip them in hot water and vinegar for a quarter of an hour. Dry with a soft cloth to prevent rust from forming. In the case of particularly blackened parts, you can pass the scourer on it, to make them shine immediately. Also clean the holes well, using a toothpick.

To effectively clean the burner caps, dip them for half an hour in hot vinegar, or rub them with half a lemon and salt until they become shiny again. If the knobs are dirty with grease, clean them with a toothbrush soaked in warm water and natural soap.

Clean the grills with water and baking soda

Even for cleaning the grills, baking soda is among the most effective remedies. Make a solution with 2 tablespoons of baking soda per glass of boiling water. Then clean them with a sponge and rub well. In the case of incrustations, let the grills soak for at least 20 minutes in a mixture made with 1 liter of hot water, 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate and 1 of vinegar. They will immediately come back clean. In the end you can simply dry them with a microfiber or cotton cloth.

How to clean stove top with the dishwasher tab

Cleaning your stovetop with a dishwasher tablet is a surprisingly effective and simple trick for removing stubborn grease and burnt-on residue. Start by slightly dampening the surface, then take a dishwasher tab and gently rub it over the dirtiest areas—its compacted cleaning agents help break down grease without the need for harsh scrubbing. As you work, you’ll notice grime lifting quickly. Wipe everything away with a damp cloth and finish with a dry cloth for a streak-free shine. This method works especially well on glass and ceramic stovetops, restoring their clean, polished look in just a few minutes.
