Like other land slugs, it lives in damp forest areas, often hiding under leaves, logs, and moist ground cover. It moves slowly and plays a small but important role in the ecosystem by contributing to natural decomposition processes.
Although its appearance may seem unfamiliar, it is completely harmless.
