Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F / 200°C.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the sausage meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and cheese if using.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into long rectangles.
Place a line of sausage filling along the center of each pastry strip.
Roll the pastry over the filling and seal the edge by pressing gently.
Cut into small bite-sized rolls.
Place the rolls on the baking tray, seam-side down.
Brush the tops with beaten egg mixed with a little milk.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
