Natural Pain Relief Tonic

1. Prepare the base

Wash the ginger thoroughly (no need to peel if organic). Grate it finely. In a large stainless steel pot, combine the pitted cherries, grated ginger, filtered water, and turmeric (if using).

2. Gentle simmer

Place the pot over medium heat. Do not boil — high heat can destroy the cherries’ antioxidants. Instead, bring to a very gentle simmer. Let it cook for 15–20 minutes, until the water turns a deep crimson.

3. Extract the juices

Remove from heat. Use a potato masher to gently crush the cherries in the pot, releasing their remaining juice. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

4. Strain and sweeten

Strain through a fine‑mesh sieve or cheesecloth, squeezing the pulp firmly to extract every drop. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and honey (or agave) until fully dissolved.

Storage

Pour the tonic into sterilized glass bottles, leaving a little headspace. Seal tightly.
Refrigerate for up to 7 days. Natural sediment may form — just shake the bottle gently before using.

How to Use

This is a concentrate. A standard serving is 30–60 ml (1–2 shot glasses).

  • Morning ritual – Drink straight as a “wellness shot” to start your day.

  • Post‑workout – Add a shot to a tall glass of sparkling water for a refreshing recovery drink.

  • Warm tonic – Mix with warm (not boiling) water for a soothing evening tea.

A Note on Wellness

Many people find relief with natural ingredients like these. However, always consult a healthcare professional before adding high‑potency tonics to your routine — especially if you take blood thinners or have a medical condition.
